Big, big thanks to my lovely and awesome niece Kara Curtin for being my episode #38 guest. She let me grill her on what life is like for a 20 year old these days, got me to tell her favorite story from my 10th grade biology class and gave us another installment of Kara's Music Review featuring great tunes from George Ezra, Bleachers (don't forget to check out the music video) and Two Door Cinema Club.

Why was Lori ironing these pajamas? Find out on Episode #29 of The Audra Show!
A big thank you to my silly sissy LoriAnn and her college roomie/honorary Laquidara family member, the "incomparable" Kerry Czerepinski Leo for being my episode #29 guests. We got serious for a little while to discuss their careers in education. Lori is currently helping NYS schools close the achievement gap and Kerry is the co-founder of Da Vinci Education and Research, which helps schools, students and families understand individual learning characteristics. Check them out on FB or here: www.davincicenter.net
But mostly we cracked ourselves up discussing how Kerry really is practically related to us and exploring life's big questions like why Lori was ironing the pajamas pictured here, why real penises don't vibrate and why women don't feel as free in public bathrooms as men. #womensbathroomrights
And THEN, I was joined by my no-longer teenage niece for session #2 of Kara 's Music Review which featured 2 cool new bands that will help you feel hip for knowing about. #youhearditontheaudrashowfirst
Thank you to Lor, Ker and Kar! I love you all!
Sadly, no pics this week, but many thanks to Kara Gracie for the debut of her recurring new music review segment which has yet to be named. This month, she told us about her friend's band Diet Cig and the song from the closing credits of Boyhood: "Hero" by Family of the Year. They are both great!

And thank you to Valerie Branch for stopping by in my way-too-short 2nd hour to discuss her new normal as a PR entrepreneur/comic/radio host/drag queen and our relationship (or lack thereof) issues.
